鑄造工廠遭大火吞噬 居民驚醒逃屋外
又是活動購買優惠工廠大火！昨天深夜10點半在台中豐原，一間鑄造工廠冒出濃煙，整個廠房全面燃燒，居民看到還試圖想自己滅火，找活動優惠但火勢太大了就趕緊報警，後來1小時內把火勢控制。
工廠內有火光，外觀已經燒得焦黑，消防隊員忙進忙出灑水灌救，要趕快撲滅火勢，24日晚間10點半，台中豐原區一間鑄造工廠，冒出熊熊大火，吞噬整個工廠，附近居民全看傻眼，趕快通報警消。
附近居民：「嚇到腳都軟了，我的腰現在還在痛。」
真的嚇壞了，因為已經深夜準備要睡覺，卻突然驚見火災。
附近居民：「我出來的本月優惠時候，我先生說著火了，那我們跑上去樓上要噴火，結果就煙很大，我沒有看到火啊，那時候看到煙很大啊。」
台中消防第一大隊組長黃智鴻：「我們人員到場的時候，它已經到全面燃燒的狀況，然後很明顯，火煙都是在二樓以上這樣。」
居民拿出滅火器，但火勢實在太大，消防隊派出7個單位，20多輛各式車輛跟60人到場，緊急灑水搶救，幸好沒人受困受傷，大約1小時控制火勢，到底為甚麼會起火，損失多少錢，都要等火調人員來釐清。
台積電市值超越迪士尼 擠進全球前20大
晶圓代工龍頭台積電召開法說會，公布第三季財報，稅後淨利1010.7億元，季增率51.4%，年增率13.5%，每股純益3.9元，雙雙創下單季新高，除了公布第3季財報也釋放第4季展望，7奈米、5奈米需求優於預期，加上客戶、新產品需求成長，對Q4展望相當樂觀，宣布上調今年資本支出到140至150億美元，創下新高。
台精選積電總裁魏哲嘉：「5G會驅動AI應用，替市場帶來許多好處，5G的速度功效表現，會比4G網路快上10倍。」
台積電法說，總裁魏哲嘉先釋放好消息，預估明年5G手機佔所有手機比重將可達15%比較今年增加2倍，5G手機當中包括相機模組、數據機、電源管理等晶片，都會使用台積電的先進製程生產。
台積電總裁魏哲嘉：「我們持續看到很大的需求，像是行動服務HPC高效能運算IoT物聯網的應用。」
除此之外，第三季營收表現更是亮眼，合併營收2930.5億元，稅後純益1010.7億元，季增率51%，年增13.5%，每股純益EPS3.9元，稅後純益和EPS雙雙禮物挑選介紹創下單季新高，在5GAI等需求強勁之下，第4季營收可望再創新高。
台積電財務長黃仁昭：「第四季給的目標中間的值，代表大概9%的季成長。」
台積電企業訊息資深處長孫又文：「不只是第四季會很好我想明年，甚至未來幾年，台積電都會是表現很好的一個公司，5G出來人工智慧的出現，它其實是會改寫，整個人類很多生活的方式。」
展望第4季，預估合併營收介於102到103億美元，毛利率48到50%，營業利益率37到39%，今年資本支出也將上調，預估介於140到150億美元，比原先預估的超過110億美元高，創下新高紀錄。
台積電財務長黃仁昭：「(5G)它是一個很大的趨勢，我們認為這是可能不只一年的趨勢，以後有這個趨勢還有加上AI，這個我們認為現在應該，要投下這個資本支出，來滿足未來客戶的要求。」
台經院分析師劉佩真：「包括了高通或是聯發科，乃至於其他像是AI的一些晶片，那麼都還是會持續，讓台積電在今年第四季，7奈米以及7奈米強化版的部分，都會有所表現。」
7奈米需求強勁，成為帶動公司營收與獲利走揚的主要動能，除了營收吃了大補丸，公司市值一路好用商品介紹狂飆來到7.6兆元以上，彭博統計，台積電市值大增下，也擠掉迪士尼，晉升全球市值第20大企業。不過在法說會進入尾聲，總裁魏哲嘉宣布，台積電企業訊息處資深處長孫又文即將在年底退休。
台積電企業訊息資深處長孫又文：「其實我在台積快17年，這17年聽起來很長，其實對我來講好像就是昨天一樣。跟家裡的家人的時間要多一點，然後把身體鍛煉好一點。」
被稱作台積電化妝師的孫又文在台積電工作資歷長達17年，這也是前財務長何麗梅轉任歐亞區業務資深副總後，另一大人事變化。
